Condition of Sale


The seller’s measurements of quality will be accepted by the buyer.

It is the buyer’s responsibility to see that the driver connects to the correct feed on the buyer’s tanks and for ensuring that the storage into which delivery is to be made will accommodate the full quantity ordered.

The buyer shall be responsible for compliance with all statutory requirements with regard to the products after delivery.

Ownership of goods is not transferred until invoice is paid.

No claim for non-delivery or part loss of or damage to a consignment will be accepted unless advised in writing to the seller within 3 days of receipt of invoice.

Prices include Government tax (if any) at the rate currently in force.

All products supplied are chargeable at the prices ruling on the day of delivery, irrespective of the date of the order.

Unless otherwise agreed, payment for the products shall be made not later than the 20th day of the month following that in which the delivery is made.

For contracts made since 7th August 2002, all businesses will have the right to charge interest at 8% over the Bank of England base rates, on overdue payments, and to charge reasonable compensation for debt recovery costs as a result of late payment.
